Experienced Workshop Operative (Electrical Panel Fitter)
- Assembly of Switchgear and Control Panels according to relevant drawings & Production Package details, to include: Assembly of Steelwork, Positioning/mounting of components, copper work; including mounting of busbars, cutting, bending and punching, Installation of mains and control wiring including metering, testing/commissioning of completed products.
- Follow all Health and Safety measures as detailed in the Health and Safety Policy / Manual
- Site work: Carry out site work when required, sometimes outside of normal working hours
- Work as part of a team
- Assist in training and development of apprentices/trainees
Essential Criteria
- Must have a least 12 months experience working within the electrical panel building industry
- Full driving license
- Be able to work additional hours at short notice
- Able to read and interpret electrical drawings
- Must have strong attention to detail, be self-motivated and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. You must also have good communication skills.
Desirable Criteria
- ONC or higher, in electrical engineering
Hours of Work
Monday-Thursday 8.00am to 5.00pm
Friday 8.00am to 2.00pm
Hourly Rate
Will depend on experience
